Rugby Player Makes All-American High School Team   10/17/2011
Alafungia (Junior) Sakalia, Jr., has played rugby since he was 7. Growing up in East Palo Alto, Junior has benefited from Rich May Foundation Scholarships and a rugby program, the Razorbacks, which is partially funded by the foundation.
Junior has been named to the 2011 All-America High School Team and leaves with the team to South Africa in a couple of weeks.

East Palo Alto Police Building Dedication   05/30/2010
On Tuesday, May 4th, the police administration building in East Palo Alto was dedicated in honor of Rich's memory. On the eve of National Police Week, East Palo Alto Police Chief Ron Davis along with Mayor David Woods expressed their gratitude for the ultimate sacrafice Rich made surving the community. Congresswoman Anna Eshoo presented the family with flags flown over the capital in Rich's name and San Mateo County Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson gave words of praise to the officers and community for coming together to honor Rich.
